Led by Jason and John Knight from Westbury, Wiltshire

Why Jason’s Cause Exists

In 2023, Jason survived a catastrophic electrocution while working as a window cleaner. Using a carbon-fibre water-fed pole near overhead power lines, he suffered life-changing injuries when the electricity arced through the pole. It was an avoidable tragedy—one that highlighted a critical safety gap in the industry.

Jason survived, however unfortunately most don't,

All around the world window cleaners using water fed poles are being killed by this issue.

Now, Jason and his father, John, are on a global mission to change industry standards and prevent this from happening to anyone else.

What We’re Fighting For

Jason’s Cause is campaigning to:

✅ Improve safety standards for window cleaners worldwide
✅ Urge manufacturers to add more than baseline insulation to carbon-fibre poles as an industry standard
✅ Raise awareness of the dangers of working near overhead power lines
✅ Prevent future tragedies through education and regulation

The Mission

Jason and John are working closely with industry leaders, manufacturers, and safety organizations to push for real change. At conferences, trade shows, and through media outreach—including recent features on the BBC and American television—they are sharing Jason’s story to influence policy and product development.

Manufacturers are starting to listen. Changes are happening. But there’s still work to do.
